What is SoulCollage®?
SoulCollage® is a creative, expressive, process that allows a person to make a deck of beautiful collaged cards to facilitate a conversation with their inner wisdom. An intuitive means of self-exploration and self-acceptance, the process reveals (and heals) individual parts of the self that need nurture, empowerment and compassion. Creating a deck of cards using found images from magazines, catalogues and other free print resources helps the soul tap into the transformative power of images, imagination and intuition. Anyone with a desire to playfully explore can practice SoulCollage® as there is no particular skill required other than trusting your intuition and enjoying the process. Scissors, glue, pictures and card stock is all that is needed.
SoulCollage® promotes wholeness by focusing on process, not product, and by allowing your inner critic to step away while your inner muse creates. The power of the process lies in how each card and its images mirror the many facets of each individual’s unique soul. To go deeper in the process, the cards can be intuitively consulted to discover wisdom within yourself. A conversation with the images is a powerful way to access emotions, feelings and senses that are often difficult to express in words. Creating and sharing cards in community adds another layer of discovery.
